This isn’t a course you watch alone and abandon. It’s coaching-led. You and a Zera coach work together, one-on-one, through the exact system that built our company.

So why is your schedule half-empty?
Here’s the hard truth most private music instructors never hear: being an excellent teacher and having a full studio are two completely different skills. You spent years mastering your instrument. Nobody ever taught you how to fill your calendar, position yourself, convert a trial lesson, or turn happy families into a referral engine.
That’s not a character flaw. It’s a gap nobody filled for you.
We’ve spent nearly a decade filling it.
Since 2017, Zera Music Company has turned nervous, empty-schedule teachers into fully-booked professionals — over and over. We’ve mapped exactly how it happens. And now, for the first time, we’re handing that entire playbook to independent instructors who want to build their own thriving studio.
Two ways to build
This is our standard program structure.
1) Studio Builder — 3 Months
Everything you need to fill your calendar and earn your credential:
- 7 one-on-one coaching sessions (weekly in month one, then tapering)
- The full Studio Builder diagnostic and prescribed coursework
- Steps 1–7 of the Signature Solution
- Become ZMC Certified
2) Studio Builder + Business Blueprint — 6 Months
Everything above, plus the systems and depth to run it like a real business:
- 3 additional monthly coaching sessions
- The complete copy-and-paste SOP library — family agreements, cancellation and make-up policies, photo/video release forms, difficult-conversation scripts
- The full start-to-finish recital playbook — pull off a recital without the logistical nightmare
- Business-building coaching: pricing progression, scaling, going full-time
- Everything in Steps 8 & 9 of our Signature Solution
What it costs
Three months, seven one-on-one sessions with me, three group sessions, the full coursework, and the ZMC Certified credential:
$3,700 — in full, or three monthly payments of $1,234.
Want the full six months? Studio Builder + Business Blueprint adds three more months of coaching, the complete SOP library, and the recital playbook. It’s priced separately — we’ll cover it on your call, and you can add it any time before your third month.
Here’s the math that matters:
Two students at $160/month covers the entire program in your first year.
We aim to help cohort members add 10 to 30 depending on availability.
Ten students at $160/month is $19,200 a year, against $3,700 once. And they keep paying you every year after that.

A ZMC Certification
Complete the program and earn the ZMC Certified credential — a living, verifiable badge backed by Zera’s nine-year reputation that you can display on your social profiles, your website, and your business materials. It tells every prospective family that you’ve been trained in a proven system and are held to a real, ongoing standard.
Join the ZMC Certified Network
Certification isn’t just a badge — it makes you part of our referral network. When a family reaches out in your area and we don’t have an instructor to serve them, we send them to a ZMC Certified teacher who does. Stay certified, keep your info current, and you’re on the shortlist to receive students we can’t take ourselves.
The Next Cohort — January 2027
Studio Builder runs in small cohorts, and I coach every one of them myself. That caps it at five instructors per cohort, which is why there’s an application instead of a checkout button.
Here’s how it works:
Apply, then we talk. Every applicant gets a short call with me before I decide — I want to know where your schedule actually stands, what you’ve already tried, and whether this is the right thing for you right now. Sometimes it isn’t, and I’ll tell you.
If we’re a fit, you’re in for three months: seven one-on-one coaching sessions, three group sessions with the rest of your cohort, the full diagnostic and coursework, Steps 1–7 of the Signature Solution, and the ZMC Certified credential at the end.
Applications for the January cohort are open now. I select and notify before the holidays so you can start the year with a plan instead of a resolution.
Why a cohort and not a course?
Because the reason your schedule isn’t full isn’t information. You can find pricing advice for free in about nine seconds. The reason it isn’t full is that nobody has ever looked at your market, your rates, and your trial lesson and told you the truth about what’s actually going wrong.
That takes a person. That’s what you’re paying for.
